1999 Valley "Pintail"
This is my personal boat "Banana Wind" that I've done most of my ACA and BCU certifications in. I consider the Pintail to be the Porsche "Boxster" (that's a sports car for the non-auto nuts out there) of sea kayaks. Quick over short distance, turns on a dime, edges unbelievably, super initial stability and rock solid secondary stability and rolls like a dream and excels with "lay-back rolls". This is my second Pintail and I've got a new custom built one coming. Yellow deck, yellow hull with black trim. Kevlar construction, bulkhead mounted foot pump, keel strip, ocean cockpit, day hatch and slider skeg. Perfect boat for a medium to small paddler. I've got a few "experience" marks to clean up but she'll look pretty for the happy new owner. Comes with two neoprene ocean cockpit spray skirts. Asking $1,600.
 
2007 Epic "16X"
At 34 pounds this is the lightest and fastest 16' touring boat on the market. This was one of my demo boats when I did custom boat orders for EPIC. Now with RKC handling EPIC boats I no longer need this
boat and it's too good a boat to put in the Black Parrot Paddling, LLC instructional fleet. Like new, white deck over white hull with black trim. This boat can be retro-fitted with the new 2009 "kick up lockable rudder" in place of the hull designed rudder presently installed. Cockpit and articulated foot brace design allows for dual position paddling. Knees together for performance paddling and knees under thigh braces for touring. This is a very friendly and fun boat to paddle. Boat lists for $2745 new...asking $2400.
